Library

The library at the Marie Curie Hospice provides the following services to students, staff and registered users:

Library reference shelves full of books
  • an online catalogue of 700 books
  • lending and reference collections
  • seven cancer and palliative care journals
  • a current awareness service for link professional nurses
  • access to the library catalogue, the internet and a range of office software on four computers
  • study space
  • an information search service
  • tutorials on searching the medical and nursing databases
  • access to journal literature available in the other Marie Curie Hospice libraries
  • access to books, journals and databases in the medical library, for those who are eligible.
