Fundraising at the hospice
It costs approximately £11,500 every day just to keep the hospice running – and we rely on volunteers to help us raise this money.
Volunteers help us with our fundraising in many different roles – from distributing collection boxes to photography and publicity work.
Many help out at events we run – including the province-wide Great Daffodil Appeal, balls, concerts and many sponsored events.
Others organise their own events – from pub quizzes to sports days to rock concerts.
And we have many support groups raising funds for our work across the area.
However you choose to volunteer, you’ll have great fun and we’ll support you all the way.
